About The Breed

The Danish Warmblood (Dansk Varmblod) is a noble and elegant sport horse from Denmark, bred for versatility and exceptional performance. The Danish Warmblood Association was founded in 1962, and today, it registers 2,000–3,000 foals each year, with over 32,000 mares in the population.

This breed is known for excelling in Olympic-level disciplines such as dressage and show jumping. Danish breeders are highly selective, carefully matching horses to ensure the best qualities in temperament, athleticism, and performance.
