About The Breed
The Finnish Horse Breed Association for Warmblood Breeding (Hästavelsförbundet för varmblodsavel rf) was founded in 1926. The goal was to breed a warmblood in Finland for competition and sport as well as for military needs. In 1980 the name was changed to: Ridhästavelsförbundet rf, and in 2017 it became the current name FWB -yhdistys ry – FWB föreningen rf.
The goal of the Association is to: " to breed healthy, athletic and modern horses. Horses with good character and versatility."
