The Gypsy Vanner horse, a breed developed by the Romani people of Great Britain, is known for its striking appearance and gentle temperament. Selectively bred for over half a century, these horses were originally used to pull caravans, providing a reliable and friendly companion for their families. The breed features abundant feathering on their legs, a flowing mane and tail, and comes in various colors. Gypsy Vanners are generally small to medium-sized, combining strength and agility, which makes them suitable for a variety of disciplines from riding to driving. The breed was introduced to North America in 1996, leading to the establishment of the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society
