The Døla horse is the largest of the Norwegian breeds. There are around 3,800 of them in Norway.
They come from the area of Gudbrandsdalen. Originally used as a workhorse and farmhorse.
Today they are used as family horses, dressage, and driving. They come in a wide variety of colors including Bay, brown, black, chestnut, dun and gray.
